Types of Evaporators

We work with your facility managers and engineers to help you decide on the best evaporators for your industry. Based on the information you provide, we can design an electric powered evaporator or a gas powered evaporator for you. Reach out to us for more details about our evaporators.

E4D Electric Evaporators

The E4D electric powered evaporator is the smallest unit of its kind available today. Highly efficient, the device's design promotes maximum water evaporation rates and outstanding product life. Its Incoloy® heaters are totally immersed in the wastewater to deliver 100% of their heat energy for evaporation. And safety is always a top consideration with numerous safety controls provided.
The problem with other designs – Bottom heat evaporators use strip heaters fastened to the tank's underside where more than half of the heat energy radiates away from the wastewater. Solid contamination falling on the bottom reduces heat transfer and, over time, shortens strip heater life. Often this condition causes warpage of the tank bottom.

Gas Powered Evaporator Model G10

Vertical water tubes – The heart of the G10 gas-powered evaporator is the innovative vertical water tube heat exchanger with internal flue gas passages engineered for high performance and efficient operation. It has an exceptionally large surface area designed for maximum heat transfer and outstanding product life. The vertical tubes are accessible from the top of the unit for easy inspection and cleaning. Utilizing surface combustion technology (SCT), the G10's design allows it to run 24/7.
Problems with other designs – Horizontal tube heat exchangers are very difficult to clean. Only the top half of the top row of tubes is visible and accessible. The lower levels of tubes cannot be easily reached and are hard to inspect for their condition. Bottom heat evaporators can be cleaned, but they develop dangerous hot spots with less than 50% efficiency and are very costly to operate.
